Funding call #1 – Safe listening in music venues/events
The Healthy Ears, Limited Annoyance (HELA) Research Cooperative, part of the broader HELA Initiative, has recently opened its first of three funding calls. This funding call aims to support pilot/feasibility studies around the audience experience at live music events. This webinar will go through the funding call’s research priorities, application process and funding requirements. HELA’s funding calls are structured so that applicants use their time efficiently, avoiding lengthy applications with low chances of success. Instead, the focus is on efficiency and support to applicants, in part to make these opportunities accessible to those in academia or the industry who don’t typically engage with funded research projects.
